Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church
Thursday, June 20, 2013
Our congregation was founded in 1848, and we have always been located in close proximity to the historic village of Wauwatosa, having been at our current site, since 1868. We worship in a sanctuary that is blessed with a great pipe organ and traditional stained glass windows. Yes, traditions are a part of our heritage, but we are regularly building new traditions with contemporary people, offering a faith that’s relevant for our time. We seek to be a church with a message people can understand, and a group of people to whom others can relate. We are committed to inclusiveness and we celebrate a diversity of people and ideas that are enriched by our histories.
