Martha Aslakson

Church Organist & Adult Handbell Director

 

Martha has been putting our church organ’s pipes to good use since 1991. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy from Illinois State University, a Master of Music in Organ Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Carroll-Columbia College of Nursing. She is employed as an educator at Carroll College. Martha serves WAUMC as organist and pianist for Sunday worship services, provides accompaniment for vocal and instrumental performances, and serves as the Director of our Tower Bells Handbell Choir. She belongs to the American Guild of Organists. She and her husband, Mark, reside in Racine.
