Janice Beutin

Rev. Janice (Jan) Beutin was appointed local pastor of Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church on July 1, 2005. She began her ministry at WAUMC in August of 1999. She is a native of Milwaukee and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University of Wisconsin, and a Master of Arts in Music Ministry degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and is currently completing her Master of Divinity at Garrett-Evangelical. She is a member of the Fellowship of Arts for the United Methodist Church, National Association of Teachers of Singing, the American Choral Directors Association, and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. In May of 2003, Jan received the Fellowship of Arts for the United Methodist Church award for Creative Worship Arts and Liturgical Writing. Jan and her husband, Keith, of forty years, have two grown children, Joelle and Chad. They are grandparents to four grandchildren, Sean, Rory, Kari and Devin.
