Genevieve Jorn is a junior in the Music Education program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Her field is Choral and General Music. Her passion and devotion to music has led her to be as involved as she can in ensembles

and events at the school. Genevieve is currently in the Concert Chorale directed by Dr. Sharon Hansen.

She is the secretary of her school’s chapter of the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference and is a member of the American Choral Directors

Association and Delta Omicron. She has also been involved in Opera Scenes in order to have another performance opportunity. As a scholarship student

through the music department, Genevieve not only does as much performing as possible but volunteering as well. She volunteers at the state solo

and ensemble held at UWM each year. She also ushers for at least three concerts per semester. She has taken voice lessons for eight years and piano

lessons for twelve. She is currently studying voice with Dr. Valerie Errante and piano with Professor Katja Phillabaum. In the past year, she has also

begun teaching piano lessons. Genevieve’s enthusiasm for this career continues to grow daily as she experiences more opportunities both in and out

of her college program, and she truly could not be more grateful for the opportunity to work with the Cherub Choir.
