Reverend Sue Burwell was appointed pastor of Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church as of July 1, 2008. Having grown up in Rochester, Indiana, Sue received her Bachelor of Science degree in music education from Manchester College, North Manchester, IN, in 1974. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1984. Sue has served churches in West Bend, Greenfield and Monona, and prior to her seminary education, she worked as a Christian Education Director in Valparaiso and Fort Wayne, IN. In recognition of her ministry, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary established an endowed scholarship in Sue’s name in 2005. |
