Below are the study opportunities for adults are offered throughout the year, below are some examples of classes or fellowship opportunities that our church offers. Adult Education classes and seasonal studies (Advent, Lent) are held at church. Whether Bible study or a deep-dive into social justice issues, adult education classes are a mix of lecture, videos, guest speakers and class discussion.

United Methodist Women

is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice. Members raise upwards of $20 million annually to help fund mission programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and around the world. At WAUMC, United Methodist Women meet as a group several times a year for food, fellowship and to listen to guest speakers. A smaller “circle of women” meets monthly for Bible study and book and issue discussions.

K ‘n’ K (an acronym for “kaught and kept”)

s a fellowship group for singles and couples. K ‘n’ K gets together multiple times a year, sometimes at church or at a local entertainment venue

Senior Life Transitions Programs

are held several times a year and feature guest speakers who address concerns related to aging, such as health, pain management, daily living support, housing, transportation, etc. A light lunch is served and a free-will offering collected to help defray food and beverage costs. Preregistration appreciated.
